A simple loop that connects a community’s activity with the person at its center.

Choose any X profile, give the token its identity, and set the additional fee split. Your account appears as the creator.
Trading generates fees. The linked profile’s share accumulates, while 1% of every trade flows to the Mention warchest.
The profile owner signs in, publishes their generated promotional post, and verifies it before each fee claim.
Your community has started something. Sign in with the linked X account to discover your allocation and take the next step.

Every launch contributes to the same ecosystem. A fixed 1% trading fee is allocated to the warchest for buybacks of Mention’s main token, $MENTION.
Buybacks depend on collected fees. No guaranteed token value or returns.
No. Anyone can create a token linked to a profile, including their own. The creator account is displayed separately, so you can see who started it. A listing alone does not establish endorsement.
A fixed 1% goes to the Mention warchest for $MENTION buybacks. The creator chooses an additional fee and allocates it to themselves, the linked profile, or both. The total fee and allocation are shown before launch.
Posting is the participation mechanism: the linked profile promotes the token before receiving its allocated fees. Each claim requires a fresh generated post containing the platform name, token link, contract address, and a fee disclosure. Creator claims do not have this requirement.
The profile’s allocated fees remain unclaimed. A person can choose not to participate. Multiple community tokens may reference the same profile, and none should be treated as endorsed merely because they exist.
No. These are proposed community social tokens. They do not represent equity, ownership of an X account, or rights to a person’s income.

Mention connects community-created social tokens with X profiles. This document describes the intended product mechanics.
Creators authenticate with X. Each token records its creator and the referenced X account as distinct identities. The token name follows the referenced username; artwork, ticker and description are creator-defined. Multiple tokens can reference one account. An unclaimed listing is not evidence of endorsement.
The intended market view includes buy and sell controls denominated in ETH on Robinhood Chain, price and volume charts, recent trades, and contract information. Prices follow market trading activity. Price history should come from indexed on-chain trades, with explicit time ranges and timestamps.
Every trade contributes 1% to the Mention warchest. An additional creator-defined percentage is allocated to the creator, the referenced profile, or both. The total rate and split must be visible before a trade. Warchest funds are designated for $MENTION buybacks; execution records should show amounts and transaction hashes.
The referenced person authenticates with the linked X account. For each claim, Mention generates a fresh promotional message with the platform name, token link, contract address, claim identifier and fee disclosure. After the person publishes it, verification checks the author identity, message content and freshness through X. A previously used post cannot unlock another claim. Verification must be enforced server-side before any release of funds.
Creator allocations are separate from profile-owner allocations. The creator does not have to publish a promotional post to claim their own share. Unclaimed profile allocations remain reserved for the referenced account.
A social token grants no equity in a person, no ownership of their account, and no right to unrelated income. Buybacks do not guarantee returns. Linking a public profile and an authenticated endorsement are different states and must remain visually distinct.
